To be considered an APEx member for FRC's registration, you MUST follow the steps below and submit an official transcript to the NSBE WHQ by October 3, 2012! For UF, the cost is $6 to send transcripts. If it is after October 1st and you are seeing this, go ahead and still submit your transcripts. October 1st is just the date to GUARANTEE that you will be able to register for free. Also, if you plan to go to National Convention for a discounted rate, submit your transcripts from now!

What is an APEx member and how do I become one?
APEx stands for Academic Pyramid of Excellence and it basically is a way for NSBE members to get incentives for doing well in school. To become an APEx member, one must, first, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Here are the proper steps of becoming an APEx member.

Collegiate Member
On IMPAK
Go to your IMPAK account on nsbe.org (where you sign in).
After signing into your account, click "My Account"
Click "Your Profile" (under "Membership Info")
Scroll down to where it says "Current GPA" (under "Additional Information")
Enter in your most recent CUMULATIVE (NOT TERM) GPA
Scroll down and click "Post Changes"
*Do these steps over again to double-check that your GPA was entered!*
Sending Transcripts
Go to isis.ufl.edu
Under "Transcripts" click "Current Students"
Click "Order my transcript"
Sign in to your GatorLink account
Click "Continue to Place an Order"
Click "I Agree"
For the form, do the following:

Name: NSBE Scholarships
Address: 205 Daingerfield Road
City: Alexandria
State: Select "Virginia"
Zip: 22314
Number of copies: Select "1"
You may choose to have the following not print on your transcript: to your discretion

Click "Proceed to Checkout"
Validate all information and then click "Proceed to Payment"
And then follow the steps thereon (from myUFL)
